Stanford (and Coursera) Startup Course

As they say, everyone and their grandma is a startupper nowadays...
So, if you want to do things seriously, you should be prepared.

Nothing can give you any more guarantee of success than the seer at the corner of the street, but if you know what's ahead, at least you will not be guaranteed to jump into a trainwreck of epic proportions. That's still an option thou, don't worry.

Today Stanford lanunches startup.stanford.edu/ , a course on startup-making.

So, hell broke loose this week.
They spy on us. On me, on you, on your grandma.

It's an invasion of privacy, it's a breach of the moral contract we, users - mostly european users - have with the Googles, the Facebooks... basically, the web.
It's outrageous, and possibly illegal. It's certainly disturbing.

right.

But come on, did you really think they weren't? Did you really think you could be using a web application to handle your mail, and be safe with it?
It's the Internet, and it works both ways. You get to download MP3s and movies, they get to watch you doing that.

You can walk out, if you want, but you'll miss all the fun.
